Welcome to

Meadow Green Ranch

My name is Gail Beach. I spent most of my life raising and showing Quarter horses and Paints. My introduction to the longhorns happened in 1999 in Fort Worth, TX. My cutting horse stallion, Bob's Little Acre 196, was showing at the NCHA Futurity. At the stockyards there was a cowboy riding a big longhorn steer around. I hung around him so much all day that finally he asked me if I wanted to ride the steer. At that moment I knew I was going to have one of those someday.

Fast forward to 2009. After a lot of research I went to a small Longhorn show in Indiana. That's where I found Oliver. He was 4 months old. I bought him that day and a heifer to take home with him in a month after he was weaned. And here we are, still loving it in 2022.

Oliver introduced me to a lot of new people. Everybody loves him. He is the epitome of a gentle giant riding steer. Meadow Green Ranch is now home to many quality animals and I strive to produce a " total package animal " with a wonderful disposition. I love the futurities the most. And the halter shows too. And Horn Set is very important to me. My opinion is if you don't have a great horn set, you won't ever get maximum horn length.

Please feel free to call or email or text to learn more about the Meadow Green Ranch cattle. Thank you.
